NEW KITS FOR REVISED RENAULT TIMING BELT
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES
As the engines developed over the years, additional timing tools have become necessary to follow correct Renault belt replacement procedures,
involving releasing camshaft sprockets and changing to a fixed crankshaft gear. AST4964 Kit incorporates ALL the required timing
tools needed to cover the current belt replacement procedures on the complete range of
RENAULT 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 & 2.0 16v. engines, across ALL models detailed.
Two smaller kits are available to cover each engine
range separately.
Kit AST4962 – 1.4 & 1.6 16v. K4J / K4M
Kit AST4963 – 1.8 & 2.0(t) 16v. F4P / F4R
These kits utilise the same case + insert as
AST4964 and can be upgraded with the tools
required to cover the additional
applications at a later date.
